Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a NO WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED. This is a request for quotation (RFQ) F40642-01-T-0060. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97.8. This is a small business set-aside. The 11th Contracting Squadron intends to procure for purchase the following items. CLIN 0001, Remove old carpet and base and dispose material. Disposal of materials will be off-site. Minor floor prep as needed. Work to be performed during week (Monday -- Friday). Order, receive, and install with special adhesives 2 colors selected by customer. Furniture will need to be removed and replace back to original position to include 4 modular workstations. Supply and install all base (1 color) as selected by customer. Upon completion all areas will be cleaned and vacuumed for customer approval. 12'wide, 2 colors -- total 950 square yards (ROLLED CARPET ONLY, ABSOLUTELY NO CARPET TILES!!!) Base (1 color) total 1500 linear feet, special adhesives (per manufacturer)-100 gallons. ONLY FAXED OR EMAILED QUOTATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED, and request must include name, address, cage code, tax I.D. number, DUNNS number, telephone number and business size/type. If your company is a small business size, specify the type (e.g., woman-owned, minority owned, etc.) All contractors must be registered with the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) to be eligible for award. Contractors can contact the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423. THERE WILL BE A SITE VISIT FOR ALL INTERESTED CONTRACTORS ON WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 13, 2000 at 1:30pm.
