The information required by FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ. NASA/GSFC plans to acquire one 4 GHZ Digital Oscilloscope. The oscilloscope must be capable of characterizing and validating a high rate digital receiver (HRDR) by analyzing signals in the range of 4 GHZ analog bandwidth and 20 GIGA sample/s sample rate and the ability to provide information on anomalies with a fast waveform update rate of 400,000 waveform/s. It must be compatible with our existing equipment- Tektronix Arbitrary Waveform Generator, Tektronix Spectrum Analyzer and a Tektronix Logic Analyzer. A High Speed Digital Oscilloscope is required in order to characterize the performance of a HRDR being developed as an advanced technology by Goddard Space Flight Center. The receiver may be deployed to support receptions for remote sensing applications in scientific research as part of the Earth Observing Systems Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing (e-mail is preferred) no later than December 20.
