Description

This is a modification to Submission No. 5082A6 dated December 6, 2000. The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Westhem Computer Technology Division, Eastern and Western Area Command Branch, 2300 East Drive, Scott AFB IL 62225-5406 intends to issue a solicitation for the transportation and secure off-site storage of Disaster Recovery Tapes and back-up cartridge tapes from DECC Columbus OH. All tapes are unclassified. However, contractor personnel shall be required to possess a Department of Defense access to Automatic Data Processing (ADP) at the Level 2 category. The storage site must be located outside a twenty (20) mile radius but less than forty (40) miles from the DECC which is located at 3990 East Broad Street, Columbus OH 43216. The contract will consist of a base period of one (1) year, plus two option years. The base period of performance is 16 Jan 01 through 15 Jan 02. Requests for solicitation can be either faxed to (618) 229-9414) or emailed by 13 Dec 00. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Anticipated release date of solicitation is 14 Dec 00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541519 with a small business size dollar amount not to exceed $18M. Note 1 applies as this is 100 percent set aside for small business.
