Description

The VA Maryland Health Care System, 10 North Greene Street, Baltimore, MD 21201, intends to negotiate a commercial service contract to furnish required maintenance and routine testing services, as well as necessary emergency repairs to the fire alarm systems located at the following sites: VA Medical Center (VAMC), 10 North Greene Street, Baltimore, MD; VAMC, 9600 North Point Boulevard, Ft. Howard, MD; VAMC, Perry Point, MD; and the Baltimore Rehab and Extended Care Center (BRECC), 3900 Loch Raven Boulevard, Baltimore, MD 21218. The Contractor shall be available for fire alarm system repairs during the term of the contract, emergency repairs outside regular contract service hours, and provide parts. Repairs and testing shall be in accordance with specifications as contained in the National Fire Protection Association (NAPA) and the National Fire code (NFC). The period of performance will be date of award through September 30, 2001, plus three one-year options. NAICS code 561621 applies to this procurement. This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Requests must be submitted in writing. No telephone or fax requests will be honored. Bid packages will be available on or about December 21, 2000.
