Description

The Bureau of the Public Debt intends on issuing a commercial item solicitation restricted to small business as outlined below, for 24-hour armed security guard services to cover all four Public Debt Parkersburg facilities. The contractor shall plan, schedule, coordinate and assure the effective completion of facilities access control, physical security, control, storage and issuance of keys, monitor security, fire and utility systems, flying the United States and Department of the Treasury flags, preparation and maintenance of required logs, forms and reports, greeting/screening visitors and miscellaneous duties relative to hazardous conditions and emergency situations. Please note that there is an incumbent contractor collective bargaining agreement in place. The NAICS code for this action is 561612, with a small business size standard of average annual gross revenue of $9 million or less. See Note 1.
