Notice of Contract Action. Edwards AFB has a requirement for training support to the United States Air Force Test Pilot School (USAFTPS), located at Edwards AFB CA. The training support includes: In-flight curriculum training using a contractor provided jet trainer aircraft, classroom training, tests, and other flight operations; design and installation of temporary or permanent aircraft modifications; provide qualified pilots for training staff instructors and pilot checkout. The anticipated performance period is 1 May 2001 through 30 Sep 2002 with three (3) one (1) year options. The anticipated RFP release date will be 01 Feb 2001. The anticipated type of contract is Firm-Fixed-Price. The proposed action is 100% small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System code is 488190 and the small business size standard is $5,000,000.
