Description

This Amendment is issued to add the bid opening date of 25 January 2001, and note that checks or money orders for CDROMs should be made payable to the "U.S. Treasury" in lieu of "Superintendent of Documents" as was issued on the original synopsis date of 5 December 2000. BASE BID: The work includes removal and disposal of asbestos and lead containing materials, demolition and removal, site work, provisions for an auger cast pile supported, four story, steel framed building addition with field installed insulated, pre-finished metal siding and liner panels at exterior walls, modified bituminous membrane roof over rigid insulation and metal decking, electric traction elevator, interior finishes, plumbing, mechanical and electrical work, and incidental related work. OPTION 1: The work includes the demolition and removal of existing roofing at Building V-10 and the provisions for reroofing with modified bituminous membrane roofing, roof insulation, flashing and incidental related work. The approximate Solicitation Release Date is 26 December 2000. This solicitation is available in electronic format on CDROM. There is a charge of $12.50 for the CDROM. This price includes priority mail postage. These sets will be made available upon receipt of a written request, and a non-refundable check or money order made payable to the U.S. Treasury.
