Description
Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, supervision, equipment and materials necessary to perform all work to provide and install new playground equipment to include installation of new wood fiber surfacing system, underground irrigation system; new sod, new concrete edging, removal of existing sod; provide for site preparation, excavation, trenching, and backfill; and redesign at Nellis AFB, Nevada. The estimated dollar value of this project is between $50,000 and $100,000 with a performance period of 60 calendar days. The applicable NAICS for this acquisition is 23599 with a three-year average annual small business size standard of $7 million and half that amount for emerging small business firms. The proposed contract listed here restricted to emerging small business (ESB) firms; if sufficient ESB firms do not reply, the solicitation will be reissued as unrestricted without further notice. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be electronically issued on or about 15 Dec 00 on the Government_s EPS (Electronic Posting System, http://www.eps.gov). PAPER COPIES WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. A site visit has been scheduled for on or about 29 Dec 00. The due date for offers will be on or about 16 Jan 01. To be placed on the Nellis Planholders List, prospective contractors must provide the following information to the government_s point of contact listed below: (1) the company name; (2) point of contact listed below: (3) phone and FAX numbers; (4) e-mail address; (5) street address with 9-digit zip code; (6) their size status; and (7) whether they intend to bid as the prime, a subcontractor, or a supplier. The compiled list will be posted on the EPS site to facilitate subcontracting opportunities. NOTE: Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Registration may take up to 3 weeks to process. Contractors may access the CCR at http://ccr.edi.disa.mil. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
