Description

The United States Military Academy has a requirement for providing all labor, materials, equipment, licenses, permits and supervision necessary for the paving of miscellaneous roads and parking lots at various locations at West Point, NY. The work will consist of, but not be limited to: remove existing pavement through a cold milling process as needed, place sub-base, prepare existing surface for paving, place bituminous concrete, seal pavement surface and pavement markings and signage, replace and/or adjust existing utility structures, excavate and backfill utility structures, replace and/or adjust existing manholes, catch basins and valve boxes, remove and replace existing old or damaged sidewalks, curbs and gutters, place new sidewalks, curbs and gutters, remove and replace old guide rail as specified, replace old or damaged lighting fixtures and change out hardware to high pressure sodium light hardware as specified. Resultant award will be a requirements-type contract made on a firm fixed price basis with a base period of 1 Oct 2001 through 30 Sep 2002, with two option years, First option year 1 Oct 2002 through 30 Sep 2003, and Second option year 1 Oct 2003 through 30 Sep 2004. The estimated magnitude is more than $10,000,000.00, base and option years included. The solicitation will be issued on or about 21 January 2001 and will close on or about 10 March 2001. A site visit will be scheduled in the solicitation. Prospective offerors are reminded that current CCR registration is required in order to receive a Government contract award (go to www.ccr2000.com for information on registration). This procurement is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The applicable NAICS code is 234110 and the size standard is $27,500,000.00.
