Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Grain Inspection, Packers and Stockyards Administration (GIPSA) has a need for railroad track scale test car for use in testing official and commercial track scales. The test care will be a duplicate of the two existing test cars; FGWX 400000 and FGWX 500000 with some improvements. This effort is advertised under full and open competition under NAIC 336510 Railroad Rolling Stock Manufacturing. The solicitation, 44-M-APHIS-01,will be released on or about December 31, 2000. For a copy of the solicitation, submit a written or faxed request stating name, address, telephone number and solicitation number. Fax requests to "Contracting Section" at 612-370-2106. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Proposals are due by February 2, 2001 by 2:30 p.m. local time. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-20.
