Description

Two (2) Mobile Isolation Chambers (MIC-4), 4' unit (single chamber) with one air lock, including installation as manufactured by Containment Technologies Corp., Minneapolis, MN. Salient features include: two closed system ports for disposal of sharps and waste; stainless steel body with chemical and shatter-resistant viewing panels, HEPA filter 99.99% efficient with particles greater than 0.5 micron in size; capability to operate under positive and negative pressure; complete air recirculation with no discharge in surrounding area; independent testing documentation of no vapor escape from the workstation chamber and the air handling system; membrane covering all internal filter faces; hydraulic height adjustment of hood; unit mobility, and two-piece glove/sleeve design. If the same or equal item is available from another source, product information and descriptive literature must be furnished with proposal to this office no later than 2:00 pm, January 11, 2001. The determination to open competition, based on any information received, will be solely at the Government's discretion. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) No. 339111 is applicable. A written Request for Quotations will be issued approximately December 21, 2000 as a commercial items procurement.
