Description: US Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District intends to award one (1) firm fixed-price, contract with Sunrise Sanitation, 73002 Gordon Ridge Road, Wasco, Oregon, 97065. Sunrise Sanitation will provide garbage service at The John Day Dam Powerhouse and Service Building, Recycle Containers for John Day Powerhouse, Refuse Collection for John Day Parks, Giles French, Le Page and Celilo Parks commencing 01 January 2001. Sunrise Sanitation is a sole source vendor and has a franchise with Sherman County Court through December 2009. Statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition: 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). Firms that recognize and can furnish the required items are encouraged to identify themselves to the Contracting Officer, which may permit their participation in the current or future solicitations.
