Description

Contractor Operated Civil Engineer Supply Store (COCESS) at Little Rock AFB, AR. Requirement: To purchase and provide Civil Engineering (CE) related materials (i.e. electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning and construction supplies for the CE squadron at Little Rock AFB, AR. Projected length of contract would be basic year (1 May 2001-30 Sep 2001) with four additional option years renewable on 1 October each year through 30 Sep 2005. Contractor would be required to work on-site (LRAFB) in a government provided facility adjacent to the Material Acquisition Section. The store must be manned 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday (emergency response time outside of normal hours is 4 hours). Contractor would be required to maintain an on-hand bench stock of approximately 600 line items for immediate issue to CE craftsmen. Capability must exist to provide timely acquisition and delivery of approximately 4,000 additional non-bench stock items per year, ranging from miscellaneous hardware to large capacity air conditioning units/chillers. This procurement is being issued as a small business set-aside. This office proposes to issue RFP F03602-01-R0001 on or about 18 Dec 00.
