Description

The Virginia Contracting Activity on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract to Integrum World Wide for a three-year renewal of the existing DIA subscription to Integrum World Wide's Research Package via the internet. Integrum offers full-text search capability for a large database consisting of Russian periodicals, newswires, legal materials, statistical data, and other official materials. Integrum provides access to a large number of provincial media outlets not available through any other vendor. Other sources capable of satisfying this requirement are invited to submit clear and convincing data substantiating their capability to satisfy this requirement. All responses should reference PR 631/0004Z/01. Interested parties have 15 days from the publication date of the synopsis to submit their qualification/capabilities. Such qualifications/capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a full and open competition basis. Responses received without the requested information may be considered non-responsive to this synopsis. Oral communications are not acceptable. A determination by the Virginia Contracting Activity not to compete this proposed procurement on a full and open competition basis, based upon the responses to this synopsis is solely within the discretion of the Virginia Contracting Activity.
