Description

Request for Information (RFI) -- This is not a solicitation for bids/proposals but a Request for Information (RFI). This synopsis is issued for the sole purpose of the OC-ALC/PKOSS Operational Contracting Division, Tinker AFB OK, to conduct Market Research in accordance with FAR Part 10. This effort is to seek qualified sources capable of providing select functions currently performed by government personnel. Those functions include software analysis and programming support for E-3 Airborne Operational Computer Program (AOCP) and Mission Simulator Program (MSCP); Ground support software including mainframe applications and media transfer, diagnostic, manipulation, data reduction and replay applications; and personal computer (PC) based systems which include Automated Information Systems (AISs) and a computer based maintenance training system. Other functions to be contracted out include Simulation Systems Communications Support, Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) management, and Information Management. This RFI is for market research and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The government will use the information obtained from this RFI to understand the interest and capabilities of the market for this task. Request respondents capable of performing this effort furnish a capability package of no more than 20 pages no later than close of business, local time, 4 Jan 01. Please include company name, address, telephone number, point(s) of contact with an email address, business size, DUNS number, CCR Registration number, Federal CAGE Code and a description of similar contracts. The description should include agency name, contract number, dollar magnitude, performance period and points of contact with current phone numbers.
