Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to make a single award for the provision of Trash Removal and Disposal Services at the Federal Detention Center, 1200 Texas Avenue, Houston, Texas, 77002. The successful contractor shall provide the services of two 30 cu. yard closed containers with 2.3 cu. yard compactors (self-contained roll-off units). The successful contractor shall provide pick-up and disposal of trash in each unit once per week. The contract term shall consist of a base year extending from date of award through September 30, 2001, with 4 one-year option periods for renewal. The solicitation will be issued on or about January 2, 2001, with a deadline for receipt of quotations on or about January 23, 2001. Requests for the solicitation package shall be made in writing, addressed to the Contracting Officer identified above. This acquisition is set aside 100 percent for small business concerns. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered. See numbered Note 1.
