Description

This is a solicitation notice for the construction of two communications buildings and one communications tower at the Federal Correctional Institution Memphis, and the Federal Prison Camp Millington, TN. The tentative date for issuance of the Invitation for Bid is December 26, 2000, with a tentative quote due date of January 31, 2001. The work shall include, but is not limited to: supplying all material, labor and equipment needed to complete the task. There will be some government furnished equipment. The work is estimated to be between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. All work is to be completed in accordance with the standards specified in the statement of work. The work is to be completed within the confines of a federal prison and the security issues will be addressed and followed. The contractor will be briefed on security issues and regulations.
