Description

Work consists essentially of clearing and grubbing, hillside excavation of common and rock materials of 2,400,000 cubic meters, construction of 1000 linear meters of railroad bed, controlled placement of 70,000 cubic meters of random fill, placement of 12,000 cubic meters of stone slope protection, construction of concrete segmental retaining wall and construction of various drainage features. Quantities shown are estimates only. All responsive proposals will be evaluated utilizing the following factors: (A) Planned Technical Execution of Key Work Elements; (B) Past Performance and (C) Project Management, Quality Control, Key Personnel and Schedule Control. The cost of this project is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. Delivery shall be completed within 550 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. Solicitation documents will be issued on CD and will be available 28 December 2000. There will be no charge for solicitation documents. This solicitation can be requested online at www.lrh.usace.army.mil/CT. This procurement is 100% small business set-aside.
