Description

N68950-01-Q-3708, Redesign of Conveyor System in B-41 Supply at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, Indiana. This solicitation will be issued as a performance contract, best value basis with technical and price proposals required. Technical proposals will be evaluated on the factors listed in the solicitation and will include past performance in similar work, performance narrative and project schedule. Provide all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, transportation, design and supervision for the following: 1. Partial demolition of the existing conveyor system and equipment. 2. Reconfiguration of remaining sections of conveyor into a three-lane manual operation. 3. Design of new control panel to operate the reconfigured system. 4. Complete re-wiring of new system. 5. Disposal of all removed materials. 6. System complete and ready to use. A schedule site visit will be approximately 10 calendar days after solicitation is issued. Estimated completion time is 30 calendar days after award. Estimated cost range is under $100,000.00 This proposed contract listed here is an unrestricted procurement. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 235310, Electrical Contractors. The Small Business size standard is $11.5 million. Approximate release date is December 28, 2000. Approximate proposal due date is January 18, 2001. Solicitation will only be released via the Internet. All prospective offerors and plan rooms must be register on the website.
