Description

Provide all necessary labor, supervision, materials and equipment to replace the metal roof on the Galley Building #278, U.S. Coast Guard Training Center Cape May, NJ. In general the work includes but is not limited to the following: 1) Remove the existing terne metal roof including fascia, flashing, rain gutters, snow guards, wooden battens, and lighting rods; 2) Install new aluminum (0.04") batten seam, structural roof panels and fascia; 3) Install new flashing, rain gutters, and snow guards; 4) Replace damaged sections of 1.5" rigid, urethane insulation. For bidding purposes, assume 10% of the roof's insulation will need to be replaced. The period of performance is 90 days after Notice to Proceed. This procurement is estimated between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00 and is open to both small and large businesses in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code for this procurement is 235610 (formerly SIC 1761). Due dates for bids will be not less than 30 days after bid issuance. NO TELEPHONE OR WRITTEN REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
