The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation, however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Deliveries are FOB destination to Texarkana, TX. . Required delivery with First Article Testing (FAT) is 50 each 230 days after contract award (DACA), and 50 each per month thereafter until shipped complete. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). The approved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data that are not economically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. Item Number 0001AA requires two bids, (1) Bid A, with First Article Test (FAT), and (2) Bid B, No FAT required. Pursuant to the provisions of FAR 19.000(b), this procurement action is set-aside only for small business concerns operating within the United States, its territories and possessions, Puerto Rico, the Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands, and the District of Columbia All responsible sources may submit an offer to be considered.
