Description

The Naval Air Systems Command has a requirement to extend the logistics support, sustaining engineering, contractor maintenance support services and other related aircraft integration support and equipment for the F/A-18 Tactical Reconnaissance System Full Rate Production contract, N00019-C-00-0190. The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate with McDonnell Douglas Corporation (MDC), a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, the sole integrator of the F/A-18 Tactical Reconnaissance System and developer of the F/A-18 aircraft level logistics support. MDC is the only firm possessing the requisite technical knowledge and expertise necessary to perform these efforts within the required timeframe. This synopsis is for informational purposes only.
