- Description
- The Defense Supply Center, Columbus (DSCC), is pursuing a ten year indefinite quantity contract for approximately 90,000 NSNs, including customer service and forecasting responsibilities. In addition to the DSCC NSNs, this solicitation will cover items from Defense Supply Centers, Richmond and Philadelphia. These parts are used by over 19,000 customers including all branches of the military. DSCC is using a two-phase contracting approach, technical evaluation and pricing. The first step of Phase I requires submission of written technical proposals, on or before the closing date. The second step of Phase I is a site visit to evaluate additional technical capabilities. Offerors whose technical proposals are determined acceptable will be eligible to submit pricing during Phase II. Offerors must commit to price at least 60% of the approximately 90,000 items. Due to the size of the NSN population, the 90,000 NSNs will be segmented into groups for quarterly pricing. The initial group is approximately 4,000 NSNs; each subsequent groups will include approximately 11,000 NSNs. Interested parties can review the initial group of NSNs as well as the entire population at www.dscc.dla.mil/programs/contracts/trident/ The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The basic contract will be for a two-year period, with 4 two-year options. This is an unrestricted acquisition.
