Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-16. This procurement is set aside for small business. The National and small business size standard are: 327320, 500 employees. The government intends to issuing competitive Blanket Purchase Orders for on call Concrete deliveries and associated materials at Offutt Air Force Base for the period 1 Jan 2001 through 31December 2005. Please request statement of work if your are interested in providing a quote. Calls against the Blanket Purchase Order will only be placed when Offutt AFB_s capabilities need to be augmented. CONTRACTOR MUST BE REGISTERED IN CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (CCR) PRIOR TO AWARD. IF NOT ALREADY REGISTERED IN CCR, GO TO WWW.CCR2000.COM TO REGISTER PRIOR TO SUBMITTING QUOTE. The preferred method of payment for calls exceeding $2,500.00 will be the Government IMPAC card. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors_Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation_Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition; evaluation will be based on best value to the government including past performance, cost and ability to meet requirements. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certification_Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at FAR 52-212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions_Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders_Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Additionally, the following FAR clauses cited in 52.212-5 are applicable: 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity (E.O. 11246); 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities (29 U.S.C. 793); 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer_Central Contractor Registration (31 U.S.C. 3332), applies to this acquisition.
