Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to modify contract N00178-00-C-2026 and purchase the following items on a Sole Source Basis from Henschel, Incorporated: FDDI network interface cards -- four (4) each; FDDI Hub (four posts) -- two (2) each; all hardware and software necessary to facilitate use of FFDI interface -- one (1) lot; engineering and planning necessary to incorporate on-site installation support and customer training of FDDI Mod into current contract, including travel to and from site -- thirty (30) hours; documentation additions to ICAN manual to incorporate FDDI modifications -- two (2) each. These items are required to modify the FDDI interface to the ICAN system to be delivered under Contract N00178-00-C-2026. The closing date is 14 December 2000 and anticipated award date is 15 December 2000. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 33421.
