Description

Develop a genetic algorith (GA) computer code to solve for a locally optimal operational configuration of the network centric system of systems such as the U.S. Army's evolving Future Combat System. It is the intent of the Government to award a contract on a sole source basis to a Small Business, Convergent Computing Inc, pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is soley within the discretion for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
