Description

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) requires assistance to the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration (FMCSA) in analyzing the docket comments that have been received in response to the Hours of Services Notice of Proposed Rulemaking to date over 40,000 comments have been received and the FMCSA anticipates up to 150,000 total comments after the comment period closes at the end of December 2000. The FMCSA requires services to assist in developing alternatives to address the major issues and points of disagreement raised by the commenters. Award of a Purchase Order will be based on Best Value and Past Performance . All interested sources should request a copy of the RFQ Number DTFH61-01-Q-00020 in writing via Fax Number (202) 366-3293 or via e-mail, No telephone requests will be honored. The RFQ will be issued on or about December 28, 2000 and bids will be due by January 12, 2001. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the anticipated award date is on or about January 26, 2001.
