Description

This is a Sources Sought Synopsis for cable television service, a commercial item, for Fort Indiantown Gap National Guard Training Site, Union and East Hanover Townships, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania. This is not a solicitation. Potential sources are being sought. A separate combined synopsis/solicitation will be issued. Non-personal services contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials and transportation necessary to install cabling to present industry standards and provide cable television services 24 hours per day seven days per week. Approximately 300 government and non-government users are estimated. It is the government's preference that the provider's receiving and broadcast equipment will not be located on the government's property. The provider shall install any necessary cabling and outlets in future new construction and in response to future government requirements. A 10-year agreement will be established subsequent to solicitation and evaluation of best-value offers. Commencement of service under a new agreement in Spring 2001 is desired.
