Description

J -- Replace Engines and Trabsmissions on BD6. THe Baltimore District, Army Corps of Engineers intends to solicit for maintenance services to include labor, materials, equipment and services for repairs/replacement of 3208 Caterpillar diesel engines, Port and Starboard with engines of a least 210hp at 2800RPM. Engines may be of larger HP, but not to exceed 260HP and replace both Twin Disc Model 506-1 straight angle 3-1 ratio transmissions. COntractor will be required to take old engines and transmissions as trade-in. All work will be performed at 1125 OStreet S.E., Washington DC 20003. All responsible sources may request a bid package by fax (410)962-0933. No telephone requests for the solicitation package will be accepted. See Numbered Note 22 except change the forty-five (45) days to twenty-five (25).
