Description

Single award, one year term contract for the Defense Automated Printing Service, Norfolk, VA for the procurement of the Signal Newsletter. The newsletter is issued bi-monthly (every other month), average of 17,625 copies, printing in one PMS color of ink (other than black) for 8 pages 216 x 279 mm (8-1/2 x 11"), saddle stitched and trimmed 3 sides plus an calendar insert. The insert prints flat 431 x 558 mm (17 x 22") and fold to 216 x 267 mm (8-1/2 x 10-1/2"), insert is held into the newsletter by one stitch. Electronic media will be furnished on Iomega compatible zip disk, IBM compatible using Windows 95 or 98, the main page lay out is in PageMaker 6.5, illustrations will be using Corel Draw and Adobe PhotoShop 5. The contract requires such operations as offset printing, binding, packing and distribution to 6 destinations.
