Description

This Solicitation is for Indefinite Quantity Fencing at the Naval Base Ventura County (Naval Construction Battalion Center, Port Hueneme and Naval Air Station, Point Mugu and vicinity including CAMAIR and Camarillo Housing). The work includes providing all labor, materials, transportation, tools, equipment, supervision, incidental engineering and management necessary to perform fencing construction for both new construction and replacement construction of fencing and gates. This solicitation is for an Indefinite Quantity contract for a base period with four (4) twelve-month option periods not to exceed 60 months. Estimated cost is between $1,000,000.00 and $4,000,000.00. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated. This procurement is open to 8(a) eligible firms serviced by the SBA District Offices located within Region IX (Los Angeles, San Francisco, Santa Ana, San Diego, Fresno, Phoenix, Las Vegas and Honolulu). Competition will be limited to firms certified for participation in the 8(a) program which have SIC Code 1799 and NAICS Code 235990 among their approved SIC and NAICS codes. The minimum guarantee for this project is $5,000.00. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 1799. The Small Business Size Standard is $7.0M. The NAICS Classification is 235990: Size Standard $11.5M. Solicitation packages may be obtained through the Internet at www.efdsw.navfac.mil. .All responsible sources that conform to the 8(a) limits set forth above may submit a proposal which, if timely received, shall be considered by the agency. All prospective bidders and plan rooms must register as planholders on the website in order to receive a copy of the statement of work. The official plan holder's list will be maintained on and can be printed from the website. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(7) availability of the solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium; solicitation will be available for download free of charge via this website under menu choice titled "Advertised Solicitations." Hard copies (paper sets) or CD-ROM of the solicitation will NOT be provided by the Government. The official plan holders lists will be maintained on and can be printed from the website. All prospective bidders and plan rooms are encouraged to register as plan holders on the website. Plan holders lists will not be faxed and will only be available from the website. Registering offerors and plan rooms must provide a complete name, address, area code, phone number, offeror type (prime contractor, subcontractor, supplier, or plan room), e-mail address and type of business (large, small, small disadvantaged, woman owned, etc.). Notification of any amendments to the solicitation will only be made on the website.
