Description

This project is a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The work consists of furnishing all labor, supervision, tools and materials to install approximately 3,370 linear feet of new chain link fencing on soft soil, with three double-swing gates and one pedestrian-only gate. Fencing shall be no less than seven feet high above ground level, with and additional three strands of barbed wire braced one foot high and leaning outward 45 degrees along the entire fence and gate(s) structure. Exact location of each gate is shown on drawings attached to project specifications. Demolition, removal and disposal of approximately 3,126 linear feet of existing chain link fence is required. Work is on a government installation, therefore contractor must maintain specified types and amounts of insurance. Contractor will be required to post a payment bond. The project is estimated at less than $100,000.00; Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be used.
