Description

THIS IS AN UPDATE OF SUBJECT ANNOUNCEMENT POSTED IN CBDNet 1 NOVEMBER 2000. THIS PROJECT IS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The work consists of demolition, removal and disposal of the Galvez Street wharf, warehouse and adjacent storeroom, including foundations, piling, utilities, railroads and miscellaneous debris, asbestos removal, installation of anchor buoys and stone protection, excavation, grading, fertilizing, seeding and fencing are required. Estimated price range is $5 -- $10 Million. Time allowed to complete the project is 420 calendar days. Bids will be accepted from SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS ONLY. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 234990; former SIC Code is 1629. The small business size standard is $27.5 Million. The solicitation (plans and specifications) will be issued, free of charge, by Electronic Bid Set (EBS CD-ROM). Solicitation issue date is 15 Dec 2000; bid opening date is 17 Jan 2001. See Note 1.
