Internal Combustion Engine Piston, Qty: 1616; 3836; 2297; 2110; 1473 annually, corresponding to the above NSNs. These items are source controlled and only the following cage codes are approved sources: 32842 and 02978. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. See Note(s): twenty-six (26). This solicitation is an RFP and will be available on the Internet at http://dibbs/dscccols.com/rfp on its issue date of 04 January 2001. Hard copies of this solicitation will not be available. Drawings are posted with the solicitation on the DSCC solicitation web-site. If the drawings are not posted with the solicitation, see Clause L07 -- Availability of Drawings for information on how to obtain the drawings. MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the Government. The total shall not exceed 5 years. This is an unrestricted acquisition. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class: 2815. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
