Description

The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to procure ten (10) each Fairbanks Morse Centrifugal Pump Units, Stock Number 4320-01-112-0008, Pentair/Fairbanks Morse Pump P/N K4D1024423. It is the Government's intention to solicit ONLY Pentair/Fairbanks Morse Pump and/or their authorized distributors. The U.S. Coast Guard does NOT possess the required technical and engineering data to provide with the Request For Quotation. This information is proprietary to Pentair/Fairbanks Morse. However, other potential sources may submit their capabilities in supplying this particular Pump. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate their capability by submitting the following information: (1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered Pump (i.e., salient physical, functional, and serviceability characteristics, and (2) Data that the offered Pump has been satisfactorily manufactured for the Government or the Original Equipment Manufacturer. THIS INFORMATION MUST BE RECEIVED IN THIS OFFICE NO LATER THAN 29 DECEMBER 2000. Information received after this deadline shall not be considered for this acquisition. See Numbered Notes 12, 22 and 26. Attention: Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE's!). The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short Term Lending Program (STLP), offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receiveable for transportation related contracts.
