Description

This is a combined synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation. Quotes are solicited with this notice. The quotation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-20. The Television-Audio Support Activity proposes to procure 99 sets, 15 function Audio Tone Decoder, Part Number 383-15 with model 304 1-3/4 in rack mount enclosure mainframe, includes loose molex connectors & pins instead of factory supplied pigtail. Manufacturer: Zephyrus Electronics. FOB destination to T-ASA in McClellan CA 95652. Urgent delivery date requested is 5 Jan 01. Minimum initial partial delivery at 11 ea. is acceptable The Brand name and part number has been identified as meeting or exceeding the Government's minimum requirements but is not established as standards upon which other offered brand named items will be evaluated. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Offeror's proposing to provide other than the requested item shall include specification data sufficient to enable the Government to determine the capability of the offered item to meet the specifications stated above.
