Description

The U S Naval Academy has a requirement for the following instrument. Constant Extention Rate Testing System. 1 Each. Shipping. 1 Lot. Non-hydraulic force application and bench-top configuration. Capability to conduct tests according to ASTM E8, G129 and E1290. Capability for low frequency fatigue tests at <1 Hz. 8,000 pound tensile frame (minimum). 8,000 pound load cell (minimum). Corrosion resistant fixtures. 4 inch travel in stroke (minimum). adjustable constant stroke rates between 2 x 10(-70 and 10 (-5) in/s. Integrated computer system and software for data collection.
