Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Proposals 549-27-01 incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20.Services shall be performed at the VA North Texas Health Care System, 4500 S. Lancaster Rd., Dallas, TX 75216. 1. Contractor shall provide services for short term storage expansion (to 700GB USABLE) of pre-existing BRIT PACS system as configured and using RAID technology. The portions of the file system that are moved to new storage must resume nominal function immediately. This requires storage expansion, transfer and migration of existing clinical data, installation, configuration and integration with the existing PACS system. At completion of the installation, the RAID shall be configured and integratedin a HACAP (High Availability) environment. Contractor must provide 1 Short term expansion...RAID technology. "Must include all disks, drive, controllers, adapter, and other equipment necessary to replace existing RAID." 2. Contractor shall provide 24 hours, 7 days per week support for a period of one year after completion of installation and integration. Evaluation factors will be: 1. Fidelity of data migration 2. Success in installing similar storage in a pre-existing BRIT environment 3. Success in installing similar storage in a non-BRIT environment 4. Must be willing to work around clinical schedule of Radiology department and hospital. 5. Price. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-4, 52212-5, 52.222-1, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-3, 52-232-34, 52.212-1, and addenda 52.233-2, VAAR 852.233-70, 852.270-4, 52.212-2. Provision 52.212-3 and addenda VAAR 852.219-70 apply to this acquisition. A completed copy of 52.212-3 and addenda must be submitted with offers.
