Description

The Dorn VA Medical Center, Columbia, SC, is issuing solicitation RFQ 544-042-01. Contractor to furnish Readjustment Counseling Services for eligible beneficiaries located in Abbeville, Greenwood, Laurens, McCormick and Newberry counties in South Carolina. Readjustment Counseling Services, for purposes of this contract, shall be for counseling provided by Social Workers, Psychologists, Psychiatrists or other counselors, individually or as groups, specifically directed at social, psychological or behavioral problems which bear a distinct relationship to the process of readjustment from military duty during the Vietnam Era and other specified veterans of war. Modalities of readjustment counseling may include individual, group, and family counseling (other than job training, skill development and placement services). Prospective bidders submitting offers in response to this request for proposal must have treatment facilities that are physically located in the counties listed above. Proposals from bidders located outside these areas will not be considered. NAICS 621330 with a size standard of $5 million applies. This solicitation is a small business set-aside. Quotes are due 1/16/01 by 3pm local time. A technical proposal is required. Solicitation documents will be available in electronic and hard copy form.
