Description

Project Title: Napa Fisheries Monitoring Program, Napa River, Napa Creek, California. This proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business. This solicitation will be conducted under NAICS Code: 541990. The size standard for this NAICS code is $5,000,000.00. JOB DESCRIPTION: The Sacramento District Corps of Engineers is seeking a contractor to perform a fisheries monitoring program as detailed in the Napa River/Napa Creek Fisheries Monitoring Plan for the Napa River/Napa Creek Flood Protection Project. The contract will have a base year and 4 option years which may be exercised at the discretion of the Government. In implementing the program, the contractor shall conduct fisheries and environmental parameter sampling, prepare a work plan and schedule, provide or purchase necessary equipment to conduct the program, maintain equipment, locate and permanently mark sampling sites, build and operate a database, analyze fisheries and environmental data, create and maintain an internet web page, provide personnel of high technical merit, write technical reports, create maps and graphics, participate in interagency coordination, attend meetings, lead meetings, make recommendations to the Corps concerning issues regarding the effectiveness of the program, and prepare a quality control and quality assurance plan. All small businesses may submit a proposal which may be considered by the Agency. ORDERING THE SOLICITATION: Solicitations for this project must be ordered by the CUT OFF DATE of 01/02/01 to ensure receipt of solicitation package. Orders received beyond this date will not be considered. There will be no charge for this solicitation. The solicitation will be mailed out on or about 01/08/01. Because a limited number of sets will be reproduced, copies are limited to one set per firm.
