Description
The Environmental Protection Agency has a requirement for operation of the cafeteria in the new EPA Campus Facility at Research Triangle Park, NC. The requirement includes limited food services with expected full service food court including a variety of cuisines, i.e., franchised chicken station, "Home Meal Replacement" program for employees desiring to take family size portions of entrees and vegetables home. In addition, the new facility shall contain an EPA Employee Store which includes dry cleaning drop-off, film developing, greeting cards, etc. This requirement will include a twelve-month base period, and in addition, will allow for four twelve-month option periods. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) No. 722310 applies with a size standard of $15M in average annual receipts over the last three years. It is estimated that this solicitation will be issued on or around 1/19/01 as Full and Open Competition; however, EPA reserves the right to award the contract as a small business set-aside. The proposals will be due approximately thirty (30) days after the RFP issuance date. The solicitation and amendments will be available via the Internet World Wide Web at http://www.epa.gov/oam/rtp_cmd. Firms are encouraged to access the solicitation and amendments via Internet. If you will be obtaining a copy of the solicitation via Internet, it will be your responsibility to frequently check the same site where the solicitation is posted for any amendments. However, only those firms who do NOT have the capability to obtain the solicitation from Internet, may submit a written request for a diskette. Diskettes will not be sent to those firms who have Internet access. If you request a diskette of the solicitation, you will receive amendments by mail, unless you notify us otherwise. Telephone and fax requests will not be honored. Only one copy shall be sent to a corporate entity, regardless of the number of requests from one or more different geographic locations. A copy of the preliminary source list will be posted along with the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Agency. See Numbered Note(s) 26.
