Description

The contract will be to provide fully Contractor operated and maintenance helicopter flight services consisting of one light turbine helicopter (AS350B-2 or equal) in support of the Bureau of Indian Affairs wildland fire management programs. The helicopter will be based at Mescalero, New Mexico. The Contractor will be required to hold a current Federal Aviation Administration air carrier and operating specification for the category and class of aircraft required under the contract. And as well will be required to be certificated under 14 CFR, Part 133, Rotorcraft External-Load Operations and Part 137, Agricultural Aircraft Operations. The term of the contract will be one year with options to renew for two additional years with a 92-day exclusive use period beginning approximately May 1 and extending through July 31.
