Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center jacksonville has a requirement for approximately 100,000 pounds of Urea-formaldehyde, 20-30 grit, thermoplastic, Grade A/B, 20/30 Mesh;15,000 lbs of Aluminum Oxide 20 Grit;9,000 lb of aluminum Oxide 54 Grit w/Titanium Toughener; 32,000 Aluminum Oxide 220 Grit;60,000 Staurolite 60-90 Grit;400,000 lb of Acrylic Plastic Type V, 20-30 Type 5 Acrylic;225,000 lb Glassbead No. 13. This requirement is for the furnishing of the virgin material and the complete pick up and recycling of excess spent media (dust product) which will contain paint chips and heavy metal including chromium and cadium. the contractor will be responsible for compliance with all Government laws and DOT, EPA and OSHA regulations necessary to ensure that the dust product is being used as a product and is not being processed as a waste material. the contract will be for a base year with options to extend for up to 4 additional years. The requiring activity is the Naval Aviation Depot Jacksonville. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 325211 and the size standard is 750 employees. All responsible sources shall submit a request for the solicitation in writing.
