Description

This project consists of the design and construction of forty-six (46) family housing units to replace forty-six (46) existing family housing units. The new housing units shall be three bedroom units designed for junior non-commissioned officers (JNCO). Units may be a single unit or duplex type, however, single family units are preferred. The project site is a clean site adjacent to the existing Phase II family housing project that is currently under construction. Work under this phase includes site clearing and bedrock excavation, utility systems, roads, sidewalks, landscaping, privacy fencing, and neighborhood playgrounds. Work also will include upgrading some existing infrastructure, such as a new electric feed to the site and a new water storage tank to serve the housing areas. Demolition of forty-six (46) units of existing family housing will also be included in the contract. Demolition will include asbestos and lead paint abatement. The Time for project completion is 450 days. The estimated value of the project is between $5M and $10M. This solicitation will be conducted in two Phases. In Phase One (Pre-Qualification), submittals will be evaluated to determine which offerors may submit proposals for Phase Two. Up to five (5) firms will be pre-qualified to participate in Phase Two. The notice will include the pre-qualification evaluation factors and submittal instructions. Any subsequent revisions to the notice will be shown on the referenced Internet website. The Size Standard for a small business under this procurement is that the annual average gross revenue taken for the last 3 fiscal years does not exceed 27.5 million.
