Description

This is a notice of intent to negotiate a contract on a sole source basis of items manufactured by Sky Trak International, 90 Sunset Road, Port Washington, WI 53704. The items to be purchased are one (1) CAB (part number 6615464) and one (1) REAR AXLE (part number 8040249, NSN 2520-01-439-5439) for a LIN T73347, NSN 3930-01-417-2886, TRUCK, LIFT FORK DSL DRVN 10,000 pound Capacity, Rough Terrain, ATLAS. The manufacturer of this forklift is Sky Trak International. This is a notice of intent to issue a sole source purchase order/contract to Sky Trak International, Port Washington, WI 53074. Offerors who can furnish the same items listed above may submit, in writing, a proposal substantiated by technical data, brochures, pictures, etc to include pricing data / information (FOB Destination -- Fort Bragg, NC 28310). All responses must be received with in 15 calendar days of this CBD notice. No telephone requests will be accepted. Requests for a solicitation will be considered nonresponsive. All responses from responsible sources submitting the required information will be fully considered. As a result to analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that the action may be competed with resulting in award under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Responsible firms responding to this synopsis will be considered if the action is competed. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.*****
