Description

Reference: RFQ1000. Rothe Joint Venture (RJV),L.P. is a prime contractor for NASA/JSC, in Houston, Texas. RJV manages and operates for NASA a manufacturing "job shop" which fabricates space hardware and a Precision Calibration Laboratory. NASA/JSC/RJV intends to procure 4200 lbs. of HFE-7100 to be used for cleaning flight hardware and is required by SE-S-0073, Space Shuttle Specification for Fluid Procurement and Control, for use in the Component Services Section at the NASA/JSC Clean Room Facility. RJV has searched the market and has concluded that only one company, 3M, is approved manufacturer of HFE-7100. Thus, RJV intends to award a subcontract to this company, On Time Support, on a soul source basis, for these services. This notice constitutes a market search for other companies that have this specific product. Part of the purchase contract requires technical documentation, (MSDS, Full Certification).
