Description

This is a Request for Proposals for an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for Tree Planting. Contract time will run for one year with one option to extend. During the base year the Government will order a minimum of 245 acres and a maximum of 570 acres. If the option year is exercised, the Government will order a minimum of 205 acres and a maximum of 750 acres. The purpose of this contract is to secure services for spring and fall planting (auger & hoedad) of Government-furnished tree seedlings on the Scott River and the east side of the Oak Knoll Ranger Districts of the Klamath Naitonal Forest, in Siskiyou County, California. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, except those designated as Government-furnished, and incidentals to perform all work specified therein. The Government will award the contract to the offeror whose offer represents the best value to the Government based on the merits of the proposal for: technical approach, past performance, experience of project personnel, and price. Estimated issue date is January 4, 2001 with an estimated due date of February 5.
