Description

Natural Resources Conservation Service, Indianapolis, Indiana 46278, Phone 317-290-3200, seeks a contractor to furnish and plant 17 acres of tree seedlings and 161 acres of potted trees for wetland restoration on three (3) different landowners in the flood plain of the Wabash River in Parke and Vermillion Counties, Indiana. The seedlings will be planted at an approximate rate of 300 per acre and the potted stock at the rate of 30 trees per acre. The potted stock planted as wildlife habitat will be planted at the rate of 300 per acre. The tree planting will be a part of a wetland restoration through the Wetland Reserve Program (WRP) and the Upland Wildlife Habitat Development. The solicitation will be available on January 2, 2001.
