Description

NOTE: THIS ANNOUNCEMENT REFERS TO THE DOE RFP, DE-RP08-00NV13869 WHICH IS CORRECTED TO READ DE-RP08-01NV13869 This requirement is to provide technical and administrative support services for the U.S. Department of Energy, Nevada Operations Office (DOE/NV), Assistant Manager for Environmental Management (AMEM). Under this effort, the contractor will be required to perform tasks in functional areas such as environmental restoration, waste management, technology, and program integration activities, and special initiatives of the AMEM. Security clearances at the "Q" level will be required for a portion of the staff performing under this contract. The North American Industry Classification System code is 541330 with a size standard of $4M. The proposed contract is a competitive 100% 8(a) set-aside procurement. The solicitation will be available on the websites listed in Block 18 of this notice on December 18, 2000. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501 and 5.102(a)(7), therefore, hard copies will not be provided. There will not be any printed or hard copies of the RFP mailed. Additionally, most public libraries have resources available to electronically access and download the RFP. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a complete bidders list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. The required proposals will not be accepted via electronic submission through the DOE Industry Interactive Procurement System.
