Description

The work includes all labor, supervision, management, and material/equipment (except that specified as Government Furnished) necessary to provide armed physical security force personnel services at Naval Magazine Indian Island, Port Hadlock, Washington. This solicitation is a combination firm fixed price (lump sum)/indefinite quantity contract that includes a base period of six months with the provision for four additional option years. During performance of this work, asbestos, hazardous waste, or pollution abatement may be encountered. This procurement is being solicited as a competitive negotiation under Source Selection Procedures. The evaluation factors are technical and price. The significant technical elements include Past Performance and Company Experience. The Government intends to issue this solicitation through the use of the Internet only. The Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation will be available on or about 01/01/2001. The solicitation is available for downloading free of charge via the Internet World Wide Web at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. Amendments and notices will be posted on the web site http://esol.navfac.navy.mil for downloading. This will be the only method of distributing the solicitation. It is the offeror's responsibility to check the web site periodically for any amendments and notices to this solicitation. The official Plan Holders List will be maintained on and can be printed from the Internet site. Therefore, all prospective offerors and plan centers are encouraged to register as plan holders on the website. Plan holders lists will not be faxed and will only be available from the web site.
